Come Upstairs

Come upstairs to my room
I’ll guide your way to the moon

Come upstairs to my room
black light will lead the way
Tell me a story I can believe
Make me trust that thing in you.

You came up to my room~

You caught me in your cynicism
Lies and loftiness, that crooked smile
Gifts given and I see you are trouble.
A buzzard flies to the road kill

Pandemonium released with bitter tears
I try and escape your hands
But they hold fast and furious
Your eyebrows furrow
Your nostrils flare

What’s there on the outside
isn’t reality
What’s underneath is my room
Mystery and tragedy
Lonliness and wonder
The colors are soft, the mood is easy.

He came upstairs to my room
I showed him his way to the moon.
Now, clothes on the floor all around.

The song ends
The bird is naked
and life continues…
