Long Fingers

Long fingers reaching into the dirt
sifting through the rocks
seeing amazing colors given by nature

Wonder and confusion takes her by the hand
and walks her further into the woods.
a beautiful, painful spirit

Madness divine like fire
questions her one basic need
lacking nothing but reality

The leaves fall off the trees
catch on the air and drift
on a journey until they find

Fingers reach out gripping cracked life
what is to be is not known
whose figure stands by her

Whose hand does she grasp
She looks up and suddenly- gasps!
