Imagination

When I drink I think I’m skinny
Rich, popular and majestic
I often wonder what fat people do
Skipping down the road of sobriety.

When I drink I think I’m nobility
Being served by many-full of futility
Not a purpose occurs in my mind
A Princess pouting Botox filled lips
She wonders….surgery to thin out hips?

When I drink I think I’m Captain of a great ship
Steering the boat wherever I want
Telling the waves to calm to a still
I am powerful!
Liqueur coursing through my veins.
